terms

Terms_

The rules for using the hosted brief bar at briefs.welance.com. They are short on purpose.

What these terms cover

The hosted service at briefs.welance.com: its pages, the /v1 API and the MCP connector at /mcp, run by welance ventures GmbH and welance ventures Italia S.R.L. (company details). The code and the ruleset are open source under the MIT licence; that licence, not these terms, governs what you do with them, including running your own copy.

Free and as-is

The service is free and provided as-is, without warranty of any kind and without a service level. We may change, limit or stop it at any time. Scores, gates and suggestions are advice about a text, not professional, legal or financial advice. Results from the MCP connector are judged by your own AI model and are advisory: they never decide whether a brief may publish on the welance/directory, which scores every brief itself.

Rate limits

Each address may make a limited number of calls per minute (currently 60, and 10 for calls that use our model). Over the limit you get HTTP 429 and can try again a minute later. Limits may change without notice.

Acceptable use

We may block traffic that breaks these rules.

Your content

Your briefs stay yours. You allow us to process them only to answer your request, as described in the privacy notice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, welance is not liable for any loss arising from using the service or relying on its results. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
